These Professional hand-crafted, kiln-dried stretcher bars are made to the highest specifications and offer you the unique opportunity to purchase stretcher strips and crossbars that fit together like fine furniture for the tightest possible fit and easiest assembly possible.  ProBar Stretcher strips feature the traditional morticed corner joints for ease of assembly.  The Bar is 18mm high and 42mm wide.

Because of the increased width and strength, there is less of a requirement for cross braces.

The ProBar stretcher is made from kiln dried timber which is carefully selected to eliminate knots and ensure a perfect match with each and every bar.  These bars are "dead straight" and not subject to warping and will lie 100% flat against the wall.
